Fanny grows up in Mansfield Park, and while her aunt and uncle are good to her, she feels somewhat excluded. One of her cousins, Edmund, is kind to her, and she is secretly in love with him. One day when Fanny is grown, she returns to Portsmouth to visit her family and realizes that Mansfield Park is her home.

Mansfield Park was written by Jane Austen. The novel depicts the social classes of early nineteenth-century England and their conduct.
